Lloyd “Dennis” Osborne was born to Porter and Christine Kinman Osborne on April 1, 1952, in Grant County, Kentucky. Dennis and his wife Candy married in August 1982 and went on to have a loving 36-year marriage. Dennis leaves behind four children, Granville (Amber) Jacobs, Sarah (Daniel) Noble, Joseph (Emily) Osborne, and Gabe Osborne. He lived in Owen County for most of his adult life and loved his home, family, and town.
In addition to being a dedicated father and grandfather, Dennis also loved farming, helping his friends, riding his Harley, and his little dog Lilly. He was a proud member of South Fork Baptist Church where he served as the trustee and song leader. After retiring from KOI Auto Parts he enjoyed traveling to see his family in Texas and going on long motorcycle rides.
Dennis leaves behind not only his wife and children, but also eight grandchildren: Caitlin, Cassidy, Benjamin, Layla, Alexandra, Ezra, Luca, and Lucy. He is also survived by siblings Bonnie Fitzgerald, Donna Scott, Larry (Darlene) Osborne, and Gary Osborne. He joins his parents and two siblings, Bobby Osborne and Beverly Stewart, brother-in-law Melvin Fitzgerald, and best friend Bruce Ellis in Heaven.
