Dennis Lee Cammack

Dennis Lee Cammack, 69, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday November 2, 2024 in Lexington. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Enlow and Doris Kelso Cammack. He was also preceded by his son, Patrick Cammack, a sister, Tammy Hearn and a brother-in-law, Johnny Hearn. Dennis had worked for Clark Equipment and C & L Industries for several years. He was an excellent welder and did many welding jobs from large to small throughout his time at Clark and C & L. He was currently the maintenance man for Commonwealth Properties in Frankfort. He enjoyed gardening, mowing and fishing. In his younger days he loved drag racing and motorcycles. He was very appreciative for all the medical help shown to him the last few months. He is survived by his wife, Donna Sue Cammack, his daughters, Joyce (Bryan) New, and Tami Hensley, his brothers, Jimmy Cammack, Lawrence Cammack and Eddie (Sandy) Cammack, his sisters, Anna Laura Cammack Garrett (Jake) and Beverly Hearn, his grandchildren, Alexis, Sorren, Haze, Drift, Colton and Bradon. Visitation will be on Thursday Nov. 7 from 4 to 8 at New Funeral Home - Main Street with an informal service at 7:30. The graveside service will be on Friday at Noon at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort.
