Delores N. Hill

New Liberty - Delores N. Hill, age 59 of New Liberty passed away Monday, February 8th at the Gallatin Healthcare Center in Warsaw. Born November 11, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Willie Ben and Maybelle (Smith) Nevels. Delores was a homemaker, a secretary for DHL and a member of the Consolidated Second Baptist Church in Warsaw. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James Lee “Petey” Hill; her daughter Leeann (John) Hill Foree of Shelbyville; her son, Brandon Hill of New Liberty; two brothers, Rev. Michael (Brenda) Nevels of Florence and Willie Nevels of Warsaw; two sisters, Rev. Caroline (Melvin) Tucker of Latonia and Myra (Dale) Morgan of Warsaw. Five grandchildren also survive, James Odell “Odie” Stone, Alexis LaShay Copeland, Jordan, ZaRiah and ShaMiah Hill. Garnett-New-McDonaldFuneral Home in Warsaw is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, February 11th, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the Consolidated Second Baptist Church, 2 pm Friday, February 12th with Rev. Michael Nevels presiding. Burial will be in the New Liberty Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Consolidated Second Baptist Church, 205 E. High Street, Warsaw, KY 41095
