Delmar Moore Jr.

Delmar Moore Jr., 68, passed away Saturday June 8, 2013 at his residence in Owenton. He was born in Powell County the son of the late Delmar Moore and Alba Powell Wilhoite of Owenton. He was also preceded by two brothers, Gene and Gary Moore and three sisters, Kathy Wilhoite, Vicki Jacobs and Judy Moore. He was a retired truck driver. Surviving are his two sons, Jeffrey Scott Moore of Owenton and Jason Dale Moore of Sparta, three daughters, April Darrell of Morning View, Angie Runyon of Owenton and Tonya Moore of Owenton, one brother, Harlan Moore and four sisters, Paula Starks, Joyce Robinson, Pat Caldwell and Carol Patton. Twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Visitation is Tuesday June 11 from 4 to 7 and the funeral is at 7PM at McDonald & New - Main St.Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
