Dee Crawford

Denzill “Dee” Crawford, 79, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009. Born June 23, 1929, in Dadeville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Neva Patterson Glaze and the widow of Herbert Lee Crawford. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Dee was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her three sons, Dennis Crawford of Randle, WA, David Crawford of Alameda, CA and Herbert Crawford, JR. of Randle, WA; her sister, Dorothy of Missouri; her sister in law, Phyllis Sergent of Elsmere; nine grandchildren, Jena, Tina, Timothy, Michael, Crystal, Jay and Hannah Crawford and Teresa and Kevin Sergent; seven great grandchildren. Two special friends, Summer Smith and Trish Dietz also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, February 5th, from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11am. Burial will be in Forrest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Banklick Baptist Church.
