Debra Jo Cox

Debra Jo Cox, age 70, passed away May 11th, 2026.

Debra was born October 10th, 1955, in Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Cox, who passed 13 years before her.

Debra retired from BP oil and went on to be a sponsor for people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. She was proud to share her wisdom on how she faced hardships and overcame addiction, and celebrated her 40 years of sobriety. In her free time, Debra loved being with her two cats, Shady Mae Rae and Mona.

She will be deeply missed by her step children Roseanne Cox and Dell Cox. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law, Linda Gordon who she cherished deeply.
