Daysie Lee Harlow

Daysie Lee Harlow, age 92, of Owenton passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at thee Owenton Center.

Born March 17, 1928, in the Greenup community of Owen County, she was the daughter of the late John and Effie Lee Johnson Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her husband Procter Jewell Harlow, her sister Myra Cooper Ayres and her nephews, David and John Ayres. Daysie was a retired teacher and proof reader for the Louisville Courier Journal.

She is survived by her nephew Don (Sue) Ayres of New Port Richey, FL; her great nephew, Jeff Ayres; great-great niece Sarah Patton and her children Carter, Caelyn, and Cooper Patton.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 11 to Noon. This will be a pass-through visitation with social distancing and masks required.  A private service will be held and burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville. bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier will preside.
