David Allen Smoot

David Allen Smoot, 73 and a resident of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, July 23rd, at the Baptist Hospital-East in LaGrange, Ky. Born January 1936, he was the son of the late Carl Smoot and Margaret Dunavent. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Snow and a brother, Bobby Glenn Smoot. David is survived by his wife Margaret Jones Smoot; two sons: Darrell Smoot (wife Pat), Jesse Smoot (Life Long Companion Joseph Wallace), three step sons: Jerry Oney (wife Pam), Bobby Snow, and Troy Snow; two daughters: Kimberly Hawkins (husband Steve), and Gina Pfefferman (husband Jamie). Three brothers: Lester Smoot (wife Carla), Vernon Smoot (Pat), and Jerry Smoot (wife Pat). Fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held from 11am until 2pm Monday, July 27th, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2pm. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery.
