David Smith

David Smith, age 60, of Owen County, passed away at FRMC, Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

He was born on October 19, 1960 in Owenton, KY to the late Paul and Imogene Rogers Smith. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Chrisman, his siblings, Jeanette Hicks, Adam Smith and his nephew Zachary Asher. David was a lifetime Farmer. He enjoyed deer hunting and watching old westerns. You could have found David outside always, whether it was fishing or walking the woods.

He will be deeply missed by his children; Robert (Jennifer) Smith, Devon (Thomas Rosales) Chrisman, Jessica Smith, his siblings; Paul Smith, Jerry Smith, John Smith, Joe Smith, Marcus Smith, Bud Smith, Connie Asher, his six grandchildren; Dillon Heath, Gracie Heath, David Miller, Chevelle Miller, Jacob Polston, Breonna Chrisman, as well as a extended host of family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends for a visitation at our Seminary Street Location on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 10AM to 2PM. The funeral service will follow at 2PM. Masks are required for those who have not been vaccinated, and social distancing is encouraged.
