David Earl Marlow, 73, passed away Monday May 27, 2019 in Lexington. He was born on November 23, 1945 In Louisville the son of the late Earl Henry and Bertha Setzer Marlow. He was also preceded by a brother Steven Marlow. He was the Director of Missions for the Owen and Ten Mile Associations for 19 years and prior to that he served as a Youth Minister and Minister of Education at several churches. He was a member of Owenton First Baptist Church, loved old movies, folk music and Reds memorabilia. He graduated from Atherton High School then from U. of L. and completed his studies at the Southern Baptist Seminary. He is survived by his wife Mary Glass Marlow who he married on May 30, 1970, his three daughters, Jennifer (Donnie) Cook, Michelle (Nick) Pasquini and Christy (Chris) Price, a sister, Betty Hill, eight grandchildren and a close cousin Ronnie (Sherry) Young. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 1st at the Owenton First Baptist Church at 1PM with visitation beginning at 10AM.
