David H. Duncan, age 57 and a resident of Elk Lake Shores in Owenton, passed away Wednesday, January 2nd, at his home. Born April 13, 1955, he was the son of the late Raymond Howard Duncan and Mary Kathleen Kincaid Duncan. A brother, Bobby Duncan, also preceded David in death. David was a member of the Lusbys Mill Baptist Church. He worked as a homebuilder and was also a heavy equipment Operator for the Kentucky Department of Transportation. David is survived by his wife, Pam Sayler Duncan; one son: Matt Pillischafske; two daughters: Jennifer (Mark McChesney) Duncan and Mindy Pillischafske; four brothers: Larry Duncan (wife Georgetta), Billy Duncan (wife Mary Kay), Jerry Duncan (wife Donna) and Johnny Duncan; one sister: Kathy Riley (husband Clarence); one grandson: Grant Raymond Smith and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 5th, from 10am until 2pm at the Main Street location of McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Bro. Dale Adkins and Bro. Ken McCain officiating. Burial will follow in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Smith, Mark Kemper, B.J. Duncan, Matt Pillischafske, Eddie Arnold, Jason Duncan, Jerry Duncan and Cecil Ellis.
