Daryl Wayne Perkins

Daryl 'Frog' Wayne Perkins, age 68, of Owenton, KY, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his farm.

Born November 7, 1953, in Owenton, KY, he was the son of Harold J. Perkins and Wilma Lee Beach. Daryl was an avid farmer, whom raised cattle and grew hay. He was very family oriented and loved being 'Papaw' to his grandchildren. Daryl loved spending his free time watching UK basketball when they were playing.

He will be missed by his wife, Ann Perkins; his daughter, Elizabeth (Daniel) St. Cyr; his grandchildren, Madalyn, Mayson, Matthew and Myles St. Cyr; his siblings, Doug Perkins, Carolyn (Jim) Myers, Ricky (Denise) Perkins, Barry Perkins, several nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022  at our Seminary Street location, from 10 AM to 2 Pm with a funeral to follow at 2 PM with Bro. Danny Flowers presiding. Burial will be at the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Heart Association.
