Danny Roland

Danny Roland, age 81, of Owenton passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born May 31, 1942, in Owenton, KY, he was the son of the late Kepple and Beulah Juett Roland.  He was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Vicki Mae Hall Roland. Danny had a long career in law enforcements. He retired from the Lexington Police Department as a Police Officer.  He went on to work for the Commonwealth of KY in the Administrative Office of the Courts for over 30 years, served at Deputy Jailer in Fayette County, and Owen County Deputy Sheriff during Carl Stivers' administration.

Danny is survived by his children, Kepple Roland, Brian Roland, and Amanda Bridges; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and his sister, Joyce Roland Stack.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  At Danny's request there will be no services.
