Danny Cook

Danny Cook, 66, passed away Friday Nov. 8 2013 at his home. He was born in Owen Co. the son of the late Abram and Nora Rose Cook and was also preceded by his sister-in-law Florence Cook. Danny worked as a cattleman and truck driver. He was a member of Squiresville Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, was a published poet, a musician playing the guitar and harmonica, enjoyed horses and especially loved kids. He is survived by his wife Anna Cox Brown Cook whom he married on Nov. 2, 2002, his daughters, Lori Cook Mutiso (Andrew) and Stephanie Cook Wall (Steve), a brother, Don Cook, his step children, Ben Peters(Jodie), John Peters (Amanda), Simon Peters (Mandy) and Christina Brown Wells (Bobby). Fifteen grandchildren Corey, Jacob, Paige, Anna, Joey, Evie, Mollie, Sarah, Diana, Merylin, Joel, Erin, Jude, Avery and Brantley also survive. Visitation is Tues. Nov. 12 from 4 to 8 and the funeral is Wed. at 1PM at McDonald & New-Main St. Memorials may be made to Squiresville Baptist, Sunrise Childrens Home or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
