Daniel C. Wilson

Daniel C. Wilson, age 60 of Union, passed away Tuesday, December 7th at his home of liver disease. He was being cared for at home by Hospice of the Bluegrass. Born April 1, 1950 in Covington, he was the son of the late Clyde and Norma Otte Wilson and was preceded by his siblings, Darlene and Dale Wilson. He was a local musician, historical re-enactor, lover of KY history and retired from the Commonwealth of KY where he worked as a youth counselor. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Fisher Wilson; daughter, Betsy (Ray) Wilson-McKinney of Dry Ridge; Sons, Daniel and Seth Wilson; four stepsons, Eric Bires of Union, Joshua Blanchet of Independence, Steven Blanchet of Independence and Zachary Montgomery of Union and three grandchildren, Gage Blanchett, Jordan McKinney and Jocelyn Blanchett. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will host a memorial service in their home on Saturday, December 11 at Noon.
