Connie Allnutt Maddox, born on December 17, 1954, in Owenton, Kentucky, passed away on December 6, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.
Connie was a beacon of kindness who never met a stranger. She continually thought of others, showcasing the immense love she carried in her big heart. A talkative soul with an infectious enthusiasm for life, Connie enjoyed sharing laughter and joy, whether through shopping escapades or heartfelt conversations. She had a special fondness for Christmas, relishing in the warmth and cheer that the holiday brought each year.
An ardent sports fan, Connie's passions included cheering for UK and the Bengals, while her evenings were often spent watching her favorite shows—“Touched By An Angel” and Hallmark Movies—reflecting her love for uplifting stories and heartwarming narratives.
Her educational journey was marked by significant achievements, including her graduation from Owen County High School, earning a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University, and furthered her education with a Master’s Degree in Education. These accomplishments highlight her commitment not only to her own learning but also to the education of countless students who knew her as a nurturing and impactful teacher.
Connie leaves behind her sons, Brett Maddox of Louisville and Trent Maddox of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by , and her cousin, Don Allnutt, both of whom shared countless memories with her, embodying the love of family and friendship. With a grandchild on the way, her family circle will continue to expand, ensuring her spirit lives on through future generations.
Connie was predeceased by her parents, the late Bobby and Maxine Kells Allnutt, and her brother, Greg Allnutt, who nurtured her admirable qualities throughout her life.
A visitation will be held on December 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM, both at New Funeral Homes located at 248 W Seminary St, Owenton, KY. Following the services, Connie will be cremated and laid to rest with her parents. Those wishing to contribute in her memory are encouraged to donate to the Boonespring Nursing and Rehab Activities Fund.
