Clinton "Bubby" Kemper, Jr.

Mr. Clinton K. "Bubby" Kemper, Jr., age 92, of New Liberty, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012, at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born April 22, 1920, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Clinton and Lula Lucas Kemper. Mr. Kemper was a farmer, a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church and served his country during WWII in the United States Army Air Corp. During his time in the service he was also a prisoner of war for 18 months. Surviving is his wife, Marie Sparrow Kemper; his son, Don Kemper and his sister, Verna Payne. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from Noon until 2pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm with Bro. Dwight Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
