Clarence Meadows

Clarence Meadows, age 69, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the University of KY, Chandler Medical Center in Lexington. Born November 20, 1941, in Manton, KY, he was the son of the late Edward and Desi Edna Lands Meadows. Also preceding him in death were his son, James Clark and his siblings, Cecil, James, George, Becky, Susie, Marie and infant twins. Surviving are his son, Kelly R. Meadows of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Edna Ashcraft of Owenton and Frances Goetz of Lexington; his brother, Kelly M. Meadows of Paris, TN; sister, Lydia Branham of Martin; five grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Meadows, Brandy Hosley, Michael Ashcraft and Andrew Hillard. Also surviving are Clarence’s best friends, Arnold and Steve Clark. Honorary Pallbearers are Clarence’s sons in law, Billy Ashcraft and Jeremy Goetz, his niece Cheryl Harley and Mark and David Harley, Sr. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, February 15th from 11am-2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to family in care of the funeral home.
