Clarence "Junior" Brock

Clarence "Junior" Brock, Jr., age 73, of Burlington, passed away, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at his home.

Born August 8, 1949, in Jonesville, KY, he was the son of the late Clarence and Sarah Frances Schooler Brock. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Emma Lou McComas and Marilyn Tudor. Junior was a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church and served his country in the United States Army.  He was a lifelong truck driver, who began his career with Gateway and went on to retire from Butternut.  He enjoyed hunting when he was able and playing guitar.  He was a sports fan who enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bengals.

He will be missed by his wife, Barbara Sawyer Brock; his children, Johny Brock and Carrie (Justin) Schmid; his granddaughters, Abigail Buckner, Chloe Schmid, and Jewel Schmid; his siblings, Carter Brock, Joann Hazelwood, Harry (Martha) Brock, and Carolyn (Marvin) Stewart; as well as several nieces.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10 am until Noon.  Graveside services, with military honors, will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Grove Cemetery
