Clara Elizabeth Haynes

Clara Elizabeth Haynes, age 88, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Owenton Center. Born March 15, 1927, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Barnickle Glazer. Clara was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church and a retired secretary for Hess & Eisenhoower Armored Cars. Surviving are her husband, James R. Haynes; her daughter, Rose Mary (Ralph) Adkins; her step children, Richard Haynes and Wanda Langdon; three grandchildren, Michelle, Doug and Troy and three great grandchildren, Cole, Andrea and Lyric. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held a 1pm Thursday, October 22, 2015 at St. Edward's Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
