Christopher Ray Cornette

Christopher Ray Cornette, age 33, of New Liberty passed away at his home on Friday, December 30, 2022.

Born July 10, 1989, in Louisville he was the son of the late Naomi Lynn Arnold Cornette and Ray Cornette who survives.  Chris was a graduate of Owen County High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern KY University.  He was passionate about computers and worked for Carroll County Schools as a technology coordinator. Chris was a huge sports fan, especially the University of KY Wildcats.  He enjoyed participating in Fantasy Football Leagues and playing poker with friends.

Chris will be deeply missed by his father, Ray Cornette; his aunts and uncles, Cheryl Walke, James Cornette, Barbara McGuire, Betty Thacker, Linda Dyer, and Charlie Arnold; as well as a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.  He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Benji.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 5 - 6 pm, with a memorial service following at 6 pm. Memorial contributions in Chris' honor may be made to Owen County Friends of Animals .
