Christine Nall Winkle

Christine Nall Winkle, age 89, of Owenton, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born January 7, 1924, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Jeff Turley and Cecil Margaret Nall and the widow of Eugene Winkle. Also preceding her in death were her granddaughter Lori Price and her twin sister, Justine Shell. Mrs. Winkle was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Barry Winkle and her daughter, Wanda Price; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, May 16th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday with Bro. Dale Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and a meal will follow at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
