Chester Elroy Hale

Chester Elroy Hale, aged 94, passed away on Saturday, August 29th, 2026.

Born on February 5th, 1932, in London, KY, Chester was the son of the late James Rufus and and Dona Hale. Chester graduated from Laurel County High School then went into construction for the majority of his career. He was a proud veteran, serving in the Navy on the USS Ashtabula in Korea.

Chester will be missed by his daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Stafford; son, Dave (Sandy) Hale; and his grandchildren, Tylor Stafford, Briton Stafford, Logan Hale, and Lauren Hale. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon Hale; and his son, Micheal Roy Hale.

A graveside service will be held at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery on Friday, September 4th, 2026, at 3:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Bro. Stanley Proffitt.
