Charles Franklin Noel

Charles Franklin Noel, age 80, of New Liberty passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at his home.

Born July 21, 1943, in Jonesville, KY, he was the son of the late Rome and Pauline Ashcraft Noel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Moore Noel.  Charlie retired from Owen County Government as the County Road Supervisor. He loved hunting and fishing with his friends and going to auctions to find treasures to add to his vast collections. He often remarked that his home and farm were his piece of heaven.

Charlie is survived by his step-children, Brett (Ashley) Lafftery and Amy Lafferty; his grandchildren, Ryder, Parker, Emmerson, and Ellie Lafferty; as well as a host of dear friends.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Charlie's wishes were to be cremated and spread on his beloved farm.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Noon, visitation will begin at 11 am at the Main Street location.
