Charles P. Bishop

Charles P. Bishop, 66, passed away Saturday June 9, 2012 in Edgewood. He was born in Owen County the son of the late John Thomas and Bessie Mae Slaughter Bishop. He was a farmer and husband of Sandra Edmondson Bishop. Also surviving are two sons, Tommy (Bonnie) Bishop of Warsaw and Wayne Bishop of Owenton, a daughter, Shelley (James “Budha” Ford) of Warsaw, a brother, Joe Frank Bishop of Arkansas and a sister, Mary Lee of Dry Ridge. Seven grandchildren, Megan Holt, Deven Beers, Haley Bishop, Brennan Bishop, Macray Beers, Mason and Lucas Bishop and one great granddaughter Marlee Brown also survive. A memorial service will be held on Monday June 11 at 7pm with visitation beginning at 5pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
