Cecil Leslie Brissey

Arrangements Changed to 2-4pm Services at 4pm. Cecil Leslie Brissey, age 83, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Bridge Point Nursing Home in Florence, KY. Born August 7, 1931, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Fletcher B. and Iva Lee Woolums Brissey and preceded in death by his son, Terry D. Brissey and siblings, James L. Brissey, Eugene L. Brissey, Bill T. Brissey and Judy L. Brissey. Cecil was a retired Carpenter. Surviving are his wife Shirley Findler Brissey, his children, Brenda King of Virginia, Gary Brissey of Maryland, Tammy King of Danville and Steve Brissey; his siblings, Ethel F. Clifton, Alma C. Ellis, Paul D. Brissey, Betty S. Christman and Barbara A. Powers; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, March 4th from 2-4pm. Memorial services will follow at 4pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
