Cecil Roy Alexander, age 78 and a resident of Warsaw passed away Sunday, October 23rd, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Born June 1933, he was the son of the late Howard and Bessie Barnes Alexander. Cecil was a Veteran having served his country in the United States Army. He later drove for the Roadway Trucking Company. He is survived by one son: Joseph Howard Alexander (wife-Brenda); two daughters: Sharri Lynn French (husband-Randy), and Sandra Jean Alexander-Lewis (husband-Larry) and one sister: Evelyn Young. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Joseph Brent Alexander, Justin Brack Alexander, Rebecca Whitley French, Hannah Marie French, Trevor Alexander Lewis and Tori Layne Lewis. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8pm on Tuesday October 25th, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26th beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow in the Paint Lick Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Paint Lick Cemetery Fund or the Gallatin County Life Squad.
