Catherine Ann Rita Webster

Catherine Ann Rita Webster, age 92, of Owenton, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at her home.

Born March 7, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Catherine Heil Fendler.  She was the widow of Walter Webster and was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Allen Webster; her daughter, Shirley Marie Brumback; and siblings, Delores Cunningham, Shirley Brissey, and Carol Woodyard. Catherine was a nurse's aide at the Owenton Manor and also farmed tobacco with her family, and cleaned houses for many people. While she was raised and baptized Catholic, she attended Owenton First Baptist Church.  Catherine will be remembered for her sewing talents and for the meticulous care she gave to her yard.

She will be missed by her son, Roy (Brenda) Webster, and her honorary daughter, Lynn Alexander; her six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends for visitation at the Main Street location on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Brad Banks presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
