Carolyn Ann Osborne

Carolyn Ann Osborne, age 80, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at her home.

Born September 21, 1942, in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Dorothy McCarthy Nowak.  She was the widow of Kenneth Osborne.  Carolyn retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as a supervisor with Child Support Enforcement in the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and was a devoted parishioner of the St. Edward's Catholic Church. She loved her family and church family deeply and enjoyed watching UK Basketball.

She will be missed by her children, Melanie (Jimmy) Simpson, Tammy (Wirt) Doane, Kenneth S. Osborne, Kathy (Jimmy) Gifford, Christopher (Sheri) Osborne, Anita (Kent) Wilson, and Annette Osborne; her grandchildren, Jason Clubb, Leslie Morgan, Shannon Wilson, Austin Doane, Adam Osborne, Kyle Heightchew, Kaci Gifford, Morgan Gifford, Seth Osborne, Faith Osborne, and Riley Wilson; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Butch (Linda) Nowak and Linda (Tommy) Dishon.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions in Carolyn's memory may be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or St. Edward's Catholic Church.
