Carolann Mitchuson

Miss Carolann Mitchuson, age 21, of Lexington and formerly of Owenton, passed away on Monday July 2, 2012 at the University of KY Chandler Medical Center. Born May 13, 1991, she was a 2009 graduate of Owen County High School, where she was a cheerleader. Carolann loved hanging out with her friends and family and was a member of the Owenton First Baptist Church. Surviving are her parents, Paula Cooke Bond and Bill (Autumn) Mitchuson, Jr.; her children, Collin and Dakota Wilson; her paternal grandparents, Bill and Angie Mitchuson, Sr., Hazel Mitchuson and Tracy and Ann Plowman; her maternal grandparents, Paul & Joyce Cooke, Deborah Cooke and Patsy Gibson; her siblings, Andrew Mitchuson and Daelynn Dunn and her step-siblings, Austin and Savannah Rogers. A host of friends and extended family also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, July 5th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am with Bro. Joel Rivera presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the trust fund for Collin and Dakota Wilson.
