Carol Ann Stewart

Carol Ann Perkins Stewart, age 53, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her residence. Born March 10, 1958, in Lexington, she was a retired Administrative Specialist for the Commonwealth Office of Technology. She was also a member of the Monterey Baptist Church and a founder of the Kentucky Roadrunners Motorcycle Group. Her brother, Michael Perkins, preceded her in death. Surviving are her Husband of 32 years, Billy Joe Stewart; her parents, Evan and Dorothy Wainscott Perkins; her son, Brandon Stewart; her daughter Brittany Stewart; three brothers, Donnie, Billy and Steven Perkins and one grandson Chase Stewart. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, January 10th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at the Old Cedar Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
