Carol Ann Poe Prather

Carol Ann Poe Prather, of Worthville, passed away on Monday in Cherokee, NC. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Poe and Louise Morris Pyles. She was the wife of the late Vernon Prather Jr. she was also preceded in death by her son: Mike Tingle. Carol was retired from Owen Electric, she loved fishing and working on gourds. She was in her own words a "gourdhead." She is survived by her daughter; Cristal (David) Harney of Carrollton. Four grandchildren; Kala, Ashley, Emily and Taylor. and five great-grandchildren. Two step-daughters; Sandy Logan and Laurie D. Stivers both of Owenton. Her mother-in-law; Ina Katherine Prather of Owenton. Funeral services will be held at 6pm Friday June 3, 2016 at the Graham-Dunn Funeral Home. visitation will begin at 4pm. graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 10am at the Carrollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
