Carl Thompson

Carl Thompson, age 85 of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 3rd following a brief illness.

He was born April 26, 1940, in Owenton, Kentucky. Carl served his country in the United States Army and retired from Kuhlman Electric in Versailles, Kentucky. He loved working in the yard, fishing, and collecting antiques

Carl is preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Mae Thompson, father Ben Frank Thompson, and brother, J.B. Thompson.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donna Sue Thompson, daughter Jennifer M. Elliott (Tony), and grandson Jaden S. Elliott.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, July 7, 2025, from Noon to 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding, followed by burial at the Owenton Cemetery.
