Calvin G. Allen

Alvin G. Allen, 86, of Perry Park, passed away Thursday March 25, 2010 at his residence. Born May 16, 1924, in Maysville, KY, he was the widower of the late Hazel Whiles Allen. Mr. Allen was retired Auto Mechanic and taught mechanics at the New York Technical Institute. He was also a former security guard at Perry Park. He is survived by his son William (Kathy) Allen of Perry Park; his step son, Ron Allen of Carrollton and three grandchildren, Natasha Allen of Washington, D.C., Christopher and Tori Allen of Perry Park. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, March 31st from 5-6pm. A memorial service will at 6pm with Bro. Frank McGee presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion 123 5th Street Carrollton, KY 41008-1067.
