Bruce Tilden Kingkade, age 77, of Owenton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025.
Born on February 15th, 1948, to the late Harry Kenneth and Evelyn Munson Kingkade, Bruce lived a life defined by kindness, hard work, and dedication to his loved ones. He spent his life as a tobacco farmer, cattle rancher and loved spending time away in Idaho. Bruce was a proud Veteran and served in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant In Vietnam. He was also a talented woodworker and enjoyed sharing his craft with his family and friends. Bruce worked for Tente for the majority of his life and helped manage the Owenton Auto Bath for years as well as being a member of First Baptist Church in Owenton.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Ruth Kingkade; children, Seth (Billie) Kingkade, Jessi (Chris) Williams; stepchildren, Eric (Rebecca) Branton, and Chad (Shanna) Branton; grandchildren, Adyson, Paisley, Danni, Evelyn, Alaina, Jolie, Annabelle, Boden, and Isabella; as well as his brother, H.K. (Bettie) Kingkade and his brother-in-law, Charlie Gruber. He is preceded in death by his sister, Margene Gruber.
New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 6th, 2025, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Owenton, Kentucky. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Bro. Brad Banks presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
