Bruce Ellis

Bruce Ellis, 64, passed away Saturday December 16, 2017. He was born in Lexington the son of the late Claude Ellis and Marilyn Kincaid Ellis Cook. He was a member of South Fork Baptist Church, worked for Hinkle Construction as a heavy equipment operator and loved the outdoors especially fishing. Surviving are his children, Robbie (Christine) Ellis, Chris Ellis, Quentin Ellis, Logan Justis and Amanda (Brad) Whobrey, his siblings, Donald, Calvin and Ronald Ellis, Judy (Marshall) Beverly, Jerry (Pat) Ellis and Deborah (Tim) Doyle. Three grandchildren, Claire and Greyson Ellis and Kendall Whobrey also survive.The funeral will be on Tuesday at the South Fork Baptist Church at 2PM with visitation beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to South Fork Baptist Church. McDonald & New Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
