Braxton Trigg Cooke

Braxton Trigg Cooke, 20 month old son of Trigg and Brook Cooke, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016. He was born December 10, 2014 at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. Braxton loved playing ball, swimming and just being outside. He loved riding the mower with his dad and anything with wheels. He also loved getting balloons at the store with his mom and didn't care if they were trucks or a princess as long as they were BIG! Braxton will be deeply missed by his parents, Matthew Trigg Cooke and Shadow Brook King Cooke; his grandparents, Martha Taylor, Mark McKenzie and Marc and Bonnie Cooke; his aunts and uncles, Coley Wayne King, Brian Taylor, Suzanna, Willie and Colton Cooke as well as his Godparents, Alex and Karen Magee. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 10am until 2pm. Funeral service will be held at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Braxton will be laid to rest in the Owenton Cemetery with a balloon release in his memory.
