Brandi Lee Buis

Brandi Lee Buis, age 45, of Owenton passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Born January 19, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael Mayo and Rosa Rhoades Mayo. Brandi was a 1996 graduate of Scott County High School and was a Medical Assistant with St. Elizabeths Physicians. She loved spending time with her family and friends, many of who considered her their rock.  She was always there for others and always willing to help. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and riding her '98 Harley Lo Rider "Lucille".  For many years she enjoyed participating in poker runs which helped benefit the Veterans Cemetery Memorial Wreath Program.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Curt Buis; her son, Branson (Emma) Woods; her granddaughter, Kaliah Woods; her mom, Donna Mayo; her siblings, Nora Harman, Misti (Andy) Cochran and Michael (Ashley) Bales; and several nieces and nephews.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Brandi's honor may be made to Wreaths for KY Veterans Cemetery North , PO Box 75, Williamstown, KY 41097
