Bonnie Faye Keith

Bonnie Faye Keith, age 78, of Owenton, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born December 29, 1940 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Mae Burton Smith and preceded by several brothers and sisters.  Bonnie loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren who affectionately referred to her as 'Grandma' and 'Gaga'.  She was an avid UK Fan, especially basketball and enjoyed playing cards.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Steve (Kim) Hawkins, Vicki Hawkins Melford, Chris Keith and Doyle (Teresa) Keith; her grandchildren, Ashley Roberts, Nathaniel Keith, Brittany, Daniel, and Lindsey Melford and Carson and Chloe Keith; her great grandchildren, Claxton, Audrey, Ava, Jade and Kinsley and her siblings, Marie Smith Hall and Paul Smith.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with burial in New Columbus Cemetery.
