Bobby R. Jones

Bobby R. Jones, age 66, of Monterey passed away Tuesday December10, 2013 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born June 5, 1947, in Middlesboro,KY, he was the son of the late Theodore and Ada Shup Jones and was preceded in death by his son, Martin Ray Jones. Bobby was a crane engineer and operator, a farmer and a member of the NRA and the International Union of Operating Engineers. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Littrell jones; his daughter, Laurel jones of Gainesville, FL; his step children, Bonnie Humphries, Joey Wash and Angela Herndon of Warsaw; his brother, Don Jones of Mufreesboro, TN, his daughter in law, Debbie Elaine Jones and five step grandchildren, Greg, Abby, Jenna, Emma and Molly. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, December 14th from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
