Bobby L. Goodrich

Owenton- Bobby Lee Goodrich, age 76, of Owenton, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Born February 19, 1935 in Gratz, he was the son of the late Marvin and Mary Edith Gaines Goodrich. Also preceding him in death was his brother James Harold Goodrich. Bobby was a retired farmer and had also worked at the Kraft factory and GE in Louisville. He was a member of the Gratz Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Betty Bramblett Goodrich; his son, Gene (Elizabeth) Goodrich and his daughter Angela (William) Ohmer. Eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Joshua, Emily, Tim, Charity, Brandy, Gena and Nikki and ten great grandchildren also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Saturday, October 1st from 11am – 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
