Blaine "Cricket" Prather

Jonathon Blaine "Cricket" Prather, age 29, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 in Florence, KY.

Blaine was born on September 29, 1993 in Edgewood, KY, the son of Candi Osborne Smith, who survives. He enjoyed playing guitar, drawing, and cooking.  He was also a member of the Simon City Royals civic organization.

He will be missed by his parents, Candi and Jeff Smith; his girlfriend, Krys Cochran and her son Talon; his siblings, Tanner Wright and Kaitlyn (Chris) Wright; his grandfather, Billy Gayle Osborne; his aunt, Sandi (Bobby) O'Banion; cousins, Starr (Emily) O'Banion, Skye (Brian) Chapman, and Bobby (Melissa) Harris; his lifelong friend Calvin Agee and his Royals brothers and sisters.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at the Seminary Street location on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to New Funeral Homes.
