Billy Noel

Frankfort - Billy Noel, age 64, of Frankfort passed away Monday, January 24th, 2011 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born April 21, 1946, in Jonesville, KY, he was the son of the late Carl Kemper Noel and Agnes Vannarsdall Noel. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carla Sue Oakes. Billy was a retired CPA for the Commonwealth of KY, in the Cabinet for Families and Children. He was also an Army veteran. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sherry O'Banion Noel; his daughter, Jane Allyson (Steve) Wandel of Lawrenceburg; his grandson, Chance Jacob Wandel; and two sisters, Geraldine "Geri" Noel Smith of Monterey and Rose "Chee-Chee" Noel Rogers of Lawrenceburg. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, January 28th from 4-7pm. Memorial service will follow at 7pm.
