Billie Margaret Wagner

Billie Margaret Wagner, 71, passed away Thurs. in Florence. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Paul and Lucille “Lucy” Mason O’Banion. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Kathryn Lusby and Charles Curtis O’Banion and grandchildren, Cameron and Ashley Wagner. Billie Margaret was a wonderful mother, homemaker and member of Owenton First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed making and collecting angels. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Wagner whom she married on June 29, 1957 and four children, Rhonda Johns of Brentwood, TN, Greg Wagner of Delafield WI, Mark Wagner of Florence and Steve Wagner of Lexington. Also surviving is a sister, Peggy Davis of Owenton and seven grandchildren, Lindsay and Brandon Johns, Olivia, Meredith, Evan Paul, Austin and Patrick Wagner. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. The funeral will be held at 11am Monday July 26th at Owenton First Baptist Church. Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 8 at Main St. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
