Billie Jo Taylor, age 75, of Owenton, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024, at Owenton Center.

Born August 1, 1948, in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Elijah Oldham and Lucille Perkins Beverly and the widow of John E. Taylor. She was a Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church member and retired as a Farmers Home Administration secretary. Billie Jo loved her family and any chance to spend time with them.  She will be remembered for always being 'ready to go' and loving her garden.

Billie Jo will be missed by her daughters, Angela and Jennifer Taylor; grandchildren, Courtney Roberts, Christopher Hawkins, Mason Bishop, Lucas Bishop, and Jayden Hall; great-grandchildren, Braylee Jo Roberts, Oakley Hawkins, Phoebe Smith, and one on the way; her siblings, Doris Ann (Larry) Tackett and Robert "Buck" (Pat) Beverly, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Blake Robertson presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions are encouraged to New Funeral Homes for expenses.
