Billie Jean Glore

June 16, 1932 — February 18, 2017

Billie Jean Cammack Glore, age 84, of Owenton passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Gallatin Healthcare in Warsaw. Born July 16, 1932 in Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Evelyn Crosswait Cammack. She was the widow of Ralph Hayden Glore and was also preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Osborne. Mrs. Glore was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church and a retired from the Owenton Manor where she was a cook. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and working in her flower garden. Surviving are her son, Gary Hayden Glore of Dry Ridge; her grandson, Timothy (Margi) Glore of Warsaw; her great grandchildren, Olyvia (Justin) Frasure and Cory Glore; her great-great granddaughter Grayce Frasure as well as several nieces and nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church.
