Beverly S. Stewart

Beverly Stewart, 69, passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at her home. She was born in Grant County the daughter of the late Porter and Christine Kinman Osborne and was also preceded by a brother Robert Allen Osborne. Beverly was retired from the Owen County School System where she spent most of her career as a cook in the elementary school and also drove a bus. She loved playing cards, gospel music, attending truck pulls, fishing and in her younger days bowling. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Bill Stewart, daughters Rhonda (Johnny) Denny and Renaee (Mitchell) Gaines, her siblings Bonnie Fitzgerald, Donna Scott, Larry, Dennis and Gary Osborne, her three grandchildren, Brittney (Chris) Smoot, Cheyene and Blake Gaines and a great grandson John Paul Smoot. Visitation is Monday May 7 from 4 to 8 and the funeral is on Tuesday May 8 at 11AM at McDonald & New Funeral Home- Main St. Memorials may be made to the Concord Baptist Church or the Powerpack Backback Program. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
