Beverly Jo "Jody" Minch

Beverly "Jody" Minch, 65, of Owenton died Friday, November 18th from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born July 14, 1945 in Frankfort, she was the daughter of the late Clarence "Whitey" and Edna Mae Dempsey Beckham. She was the widow of Vernon Minch and was also preceded in death by her son Travis and brother, Danny. Mrs. Minch was a member or the Poplar Grove Baptist church and a retired secretary. Surviving are her son, Mike Minch, of Owenton; two daughters, Veronica Minch Wilhoite of Glencoe and Kim Minch Pettyjohn of Owenton. Eight grandchildren also survive. McDonald & New Funeral homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday, November 21st from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am with Bro. Craig Howard presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
