Beverley Kaye Gibson

Miss Beverley Kaye Gibson, age 61, of Owenton passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Owenton Center. Born August 4, 1954, in Owen County she was the daughter of the late Blantin and Nettie Johnson Gibson. Beverley worked for the Commonwealth of KY, Department of Transportation in the Maps Division and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are her sister, Wanda (Marvin) Osbourn of Harrodsburg; her brothers, Larry (Debbie) Gibson and Gary (Pat) Gibson of Owenton. Seven nephews, six great nieces and seven great nephews also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, August 9th from 4-8pm/ Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Department at the Owenton Center, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church or to Gideon's International.
