Beulah Mae Combs, 76, Of Willisburg and formerly of Owenton, passed away Wednesday October 1, 2008 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born September 12, 1932 in Owenton, she was the daughter of the late John Willie and Hallie Herndon Chipman. Mrs. Combs was a homemaker and a member of the Grapevine Christian Church. Mrs. Combs is survived by her husband whom she married on September 24, 1955, Ceazor Combs; son, Kenneth Ray Combs of Raleigh, NC; daughter Wanda Lou Morris of Willisburg; three brothers, James “Buster” Chipman of Owenton, Don Chipman of Glencoe and Lowell Slaughter of Burlington; and her sister Rose Case of Cincinnati, OH. Four grandchildren, Ceazor Odell Morris, Brandon and Ashley Combs and Destiny Kennedy; three great grandchildren and five step grandchildren also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery with Bro. Claude Waldridge officiating.
